Hello, Hippo Friends & Family!
Unable to establish a ban in the United States, the FDA will be pushing the World Health Organization (WHO) to ban Kratom internationally.Â
This would effectively destroy the entire worldwide Kratom industry and shut down all the promising academic research that is in progress.
We have until August 24th to publicly oppose this ridiculous effort.
Here is what is going on (please watch) -
Major update from W.H.O from American Kratom Association.Â
*VERY IMPORTANT*
The first step is to submit your thoughts or personal testimonial - here
Keep it respectful.Â
The most thoughtful public submissions could be read at the United Nations.
If you don’t have a lot of time, submitting a short comment is still helpful.Â
Just tell them that you don’t support their international ban.Â
The more comments the better.Â
There is strength in numbers and you can assume that the World Health Organization and United Nations has never heard about the safety or benefits of Kratom.Â
If you can get your friends and family to submit a comment - that would be SUPER HELPFUL.
We explain the details below - if you have any questions contact our Hippo Helpers at help@happyhippoherbals.com
What is the International Kratom Ban?
On Friday, July 23rd, the Federal Register (The Daily Journal of the United States Government) posted a request for feedback on a number of substances - including Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa) and six others.Â
It’s important to note that Kratom is the only non-synthetic item on the entire list.
These comments and feedback from the public will be taken and presented to the World Health Organization (WHO), which will then decide whether to recommend that certain international restrictions be placed on the compounds listed.Â
We believe the 'international Kratom ban' is the greatest threat to Kratom since the attempted Federal ban in September 2016.Â
However - unlike September 2016, this is a fight that WE SHOULD WIN if everyone contributes.
Do I Need to Stock Up?
No - panic buying is not necessary.Â
International law is a long process but we need to stop this ridiculous ban ASAP.
How Will I Know What is Going On with the Kratom Ban?
We will keep you posted.
The deadline for comments is August 24th - and unfortunately, it will be a long waiting game to figure out when the feedback is being reviewed.Â
We will continue to keep you informed of any international kratom ban updates and anything you can do to help us prevent it.Â
We value all our customers like family - and we need your help now more than ever!Â
